Adi Meyerson
Adi Meyerson is an Israeli bassist, composer, producer, and educator based in New York City. Since moving to the U.S. in 2012, she has quickly established herself as a compelling and dynamic voice in the New York music scene.
Meyerson has performed and toured internationally as both a bandleader and sideman, collaborating across genres with a wide range of artists including Charli Persip, Bria Skonberg, Joshua Bassett, Armand Hammer, and many others. Her versatility has brought her to renowned clubs, festivals, and stages around the world.
As a bandleader, Meyerson has released two critically acclaimed albums and is currently recording her third, featuring her genre-defying quartet project, Dark Matter. Her work has been supported by numerous awards and fellowships, including the NYFA Women's Grant (2020), a Next Jazz Legacy nomination (2022), the UARK RefleXions Performance & Residency (2022), the Uncharted Creative Residency Fund (2022), and the Chamber Music America Performance Plus Grant (2024).
A dedicated educator, Meyerson has taught at leading institutions and programs such as Stanford Jazz Workshop, Jazz House Kids, JazzReach, and Jazz at Lincoln Center, and has presented masterclasses and clinics around the globe.
